Warhol style portrait

Your first Photoshop assignment will be to create a Warhol style portrait of a famous person, using the various color editing options found in the 'Image' - 'Adjustments' menu.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete the assignment.

Step One:

Find a High Resolution image of a famous person.

Step Two:

Create a new Photoshop document. Set the Width and Height to 5 inches with the Resolution at 300 Pixels/Inch.

Step Three:

Copy the famous person image and paste it into the new 5 x 5 document. Press ( Command + T ) to resize the image and fill the entire white space.

Step Four:

Use the Image - Adjustments menu to find the options to change the color of your photo.

Step Five:

Using the Color Balance option will allow you to change the overall color of your photo.

Step Six:

When you create something interesting with your image, File - Save As, your image.

Step Seven:

When your Save As menu appears, name your document 'portrait 1'. Make sure you are saving to the Desktop.

Step Eight:

Repeat Steps 1 through 7 until you have SIX different color outcomes in total. Name each file a different name.
