For your next Photoshop assignment you will be designing a license plate from the state of your choice.

Most license plates follow similar layout options. Some have the main image of the license plate directly in the middle of the plate, like Colorado's above. Or an image to the side like Oregon's pictured here.

Besides a main image on the plate illustrating something special about the state it represents, the plate will often have a background image that further depicts the state's history or what the state is famous for.

Once you decide on what state your license plate is from and the images you want to represent it, the next step would be to use the Photoshop type tool to create the license plate's numbers, the state name and their motto.
