WE ELABORATE A DIGITAL POSTER WITH EDUGLOGSTER

In pairs, you are going to elaborate a digital poster about the immigration phenomenon.

A few pairs of the group will elaborate the poster, being in the shoes of those who had to leave their homes, families, and countries to emigrate to foreign lands. Others will elaborate another poster and will be in the shoes of those who receive those immigrants.

You are going to deal with the immigration in general: Asian, African, Spanish, American ones… East countries...

WHAT WE NEED TO DO THIS TASK.

· Computers with access to Internet, a screen and a projector.


ACTIVITY 1: WHAT CAN WE DO WITH THE APPLICATION “EDUGLOGSTER”? WE START THINKING.

Below, you can have a look at different digital posters created with the application GLOGSTER.

EDUGLOGSTER is a free application of the WEB 2.0, to elaborate posters or cartels in which it is possible to insert texts, images, videos and sound.

Start thinking about the structure and design of the poster.


ACTIVITY 2: LOOK AT THE TUTORIAL.

In the tutorial you can see the steps that you have to give to elaborate your digital poster A small explanation to be able to write with written accents in a GLOG

ACTIVITY 3: WE SEARCH IMAGES, LINKS, VIDEOS AND MUSIC FOR THE POSTER.

EDUGLOGSTER is a WEB 2.0 free application, to elaborate posters or cartels in which it is possible to insert texts, images, videos and sound.

ACTIVITY 4: WE WRITE THE TEXTS OF THE POSTER.

The written information you have found in different sites of Internet and which have been gathered in the sheet WRITTEN INFORMATION, in pairs, you are going to share it and with it, you will write the different texts your poster is going to have.

ACTIVITY 5: A STOPOVER: A LEARNING DIARY

TO THINK OVER

You are going to do a stopover to think over about what you are learning, how you are learning it and if you need any help to solve a specific topic or to learn it in a more efficient way. Thus, you have the Learning Diary, a tool that is going to help you to self-evaluate your learning process. It is convenient that you answer all the questions of your diary in an individual way.

This Learning Diary can be checked whenever the teacher or you consider it appropriate.
