Transfering Bank Files

This is very useful. It IS NOT a command, but something you do to transfer your "aliases" from one map to another.

Aliases and game setups are saved by “Map Creator” not by the map itself. Each creator has their own “Player Handle” which is basically an ID. There is a way to transfer these files from one owners map, onto another, such as Melg’s files onto Sector Zero. In order to do this, I will guide you on the steps below.

First off you will want to go into your “Documents” on your hard drive. Under that section you will find “Starcraft II” Once you are in this section, at the bottom you will find “your names” if you have changed it, it will not matter, both files will be the same, I will insert a picture below.

If you do not see your name there for some reason, You will have to do this instead: Documents\Starcraft II\Accounts\<account number>\<your 1-S2- number>

At this point you will see 3 main folders: Banks, Replays, Saves.

You will have to open up the “Banks” file. Once in there you will see bank files from all arcade made maps, including files that are not “cortex related.” These 1-S1-1 numbers are all map uploaders.

Say you want to move your aliases from tram onto another map, you will first enter the file

1-S2-1-2459597. You should see a "Cortexalias.SC2Bank" in there if you indeed have aliases on Tram, copy that file with Ctrl + C

Then if you want to have those aliases in the map “Vorania” made by Suvius, find 1-S2-1-3740242 for the Vorania map's uploader, and Ctrl + V, and then you are done!

You must do this before loading screen, It will not work during, or after!
