American has 218 Airbus A321-200 aircraft in the fleet with two different configurations. All A321 will eventually be retrofitted into this configuration. The oasis modification is an effort to harmonize the fleet's seat count and interior so passengers will have the same product and experience no matter which plane they're on.

The A321K/Rs all have Airbus XL bins, and power ports and USB ports at every seat.  All A321 are equipped with Viasat satellite Wi-fi and IFE onboard is free to stream on your personal device. All Legacy US Airways A321 have wingtip fence winglets and all Legacy American A321 have Sharklets. The LUS A321 fleet is powered by either CFM56-5B3/P engines or IAE V2533-A5 engines. All LAA A321 are powered by the IAE engine. American is the largest operator of the IAE V2500 engine and the largest operator of Airbus aircraft in the World.
