Renee Carstens specializes in leadership development by providing activities and programs that center on positive youth development. She has facilitated hundreds of youth-lead service-learning projects. Renee joined the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension team in 2017 with 26+ years of experience in public education, from teaching classes in early childhood, youth development to adult instruction. She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. She enjoys working with youth and adult volunteers to provide opportunities for youth, community and workforce development. Renee approaches each day by Living Aloha. This is an attitude of living with a focus on kindness, patience, compassion, respect, togetherness, affection, empathy, peace and love.

Thuy Talgo- Bishop is a current 4-H Program Coordinator at Gila County Cooperative Extension. She has worked with youth from Gila County and the San Carlos Apache Reservation to participate in the Underwater Robotics Project, Greenhouse Sustainable Energy, and Next Step To Leadership project. Partnering with the 4-H YoUniversity has allowed rural youth the opportunity to gain experience in fields such as engineering and technology. Sparking their interest and developing their curiosity to uncover their potential is a great motivation to be part of 4-H! Empowering today's youth for tomorrow’s leaders! Thuy also holds a master’s in public health education with a focus on community health.

Deb Heim Martinez is a Volunteer Club Leader for Discovery 4-H in Maricopa County.
