Angus Kelly has achieved a feat that few Catholic School students have achieved before him, gaining selection in no less than eight Polding teams in a calendar year.

Angus is clearly a talented all-rounder, with a highlight of his sporting year being his selection in the NSWPSSA Rugby Union team, after leading the Polding boys to the state final at the PSSA Rugby Championships held in Wagga Wagga.

Reaching the highest level of selection in one of his chosen sports may be impressive, but the real exceptional element of Angus’ sporting prowess is his versatility.

Throughout the year, Angus has been selected in eight Polding teams and represented in six of them, only having to withdraw from Polding Australian Football due to injury and Polding Golf due to a sporting clash!

Gaining selection in Polding Athletics, Basketball, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Swimming and Touch Football, Angus is able to adapt his skills to whichever sport he sets his mind to. Natural talent merged with an appetite to succeed and a willingness to give anything a go. Angus has truly set the benchmark for sport representation within NSW Catholic Primary Schools.
