Lucas has had a dominant year in diving at both state and national level. At the NSWCCC Championships, he secured titles in both the 16 Years Springboard and Open Platform events, earning selection onto the NSW All Schools Team. He continued his success at NSW All Schools with victories in the 16 Years Springboard and the 15–16 Years Platform event.
At the School Sport Australia Championships in Brisbane, Lucas once again proved himself to be one of Australia’s brightest young divers. Competing in five events across four days, Lucas returned as a remarkable five-time medalist, including four national titles.
At the Championship, Lucas took home two individual gold and an individual bronze medal, finishing 1st in the 16yrs Boys Springboard and 1st in 15-16yrs Boys Platform and 3rd in the 16 Years Boys Knockout. Demonstrating his teamwork in an often individual sport, Lucas took out a further two gold synchro medals, coming 1st in the 15-16 yrs Mixed Synchro and 1st in Team Synchro. Lucas also contributed to the championships as a judge, showcasing not only his athletic talent but also his strong technical understanding of the sport.
With his talent, humility, and passion for his sport, Lucas continues to rise, an athlete committed not just to his own success but to lifting others with him. Lucas collected the most national medals of any NSWCCC able-bodied athlete in 2025 - there is very little Lucas has not done in the school diving pathway.
