NSWCCC Blues Award for Excellence in Basketball
Angela has demonstrated outstanding talent, determination, and leadership as a female basketball athlete representing NSWCCC. In 2025, she has earned recognition as one of the state’s most reliable and influential players, building a reputation for her strong court awareness, high skill level, excellent athleticism and ability to rise to the demands of high-pressure competition.
Following selection in the U16 NSW All-Schools team, she performed consistently showing considerable ability at the School Sport Australia Championships. One of her finest moments representing NSW All-Schools came during the Gold Medal game at the School Sport Australia Championships, where she delivered a high quality 18-point performance. In a tightly contested final, her shooting, resilience, and composure were instrumental in guiding her team to national success. This effort showcased not only her technical skill but also her capacity to perform when it matters most.
Significant highlights of her achievements in 2025 were her selection in the School Sport Australia All-Australian, the NSW Metro U16 Women’s State Team and finally as squad member for the Basketball Australia U16 Sapphires, where she attended a national training camp at the Centre of Excellence in Canberra ahead of the FIBA Asia Cup. This selection illustrates his potential to excel at the international level and reflects the dedication, work ethic, and natural talent she brings to the sport.
