In 2025, she represented the Bathurst Diocese at the NSWCCC Championships, where her outstanding performances earned her selection in the NSWCCC team for the second consecutive year. At the NSW All Schools titles, April was a dominant force, securing selection in the NSW All Schools team for the second year running.

As a link player, April combines elite defensive positioning with precision passing and dynamic line running, creating numerous try-scoring opportunities for her team. Her impact was pivotal at the School Sport Australia Championships in Ballarat, where NSW defeated Queensland in the Grand Final and April earned selection in the Australian Merit Team, an honor she has now achieved two years in a row.
