Ava Jacob

Ava Jacobs has demonstrated extraordinary talent, dedication, and sportsmanship, establishing herself as an exceptional young athlete in Cross Country. In only her second year of secondary school, Ava has represented NSW for two consecutive years—a remarkable achievement for a 14-year-old competing in the 14–15 years age group.

At the 2025 NSWCCC Championships, Ava dominated the 14 years 4km event, finishing in first place and earning selection to represent NSWCCC at the NSW All Schools Championships. Her outstanding performance at All Schools secured her a place on the NSW team for the School Sport Australia Championships on the Gold Coast.

At the national level, Ava achieved an impressive third place individually in the 14 years 4km race. She also contributed to NSW’s success in the team event, helping secure a silver medal, and ran an exceptional leg in the relay to claim another silver medal for her team.
