NSWCCC Blues Award for Excellence in Basketball
Rebecca has exemplified excellence, resilience, and leadership throughout her involvement in NSWCCC School Sport, establishing herself as one of the state’s most talented emerging basketball athletes. Her dedication to continuous improvement and her ability to influence games at both ends of the court have made her a standout performer across the 2025 season. At this year’s NSW All-Schools tournament, Rebecca showcased a highly accomplished offensive game where she led the team in scoring, including possessing a silky smooth shot stroke from the three point line. In addition, she displayed impressive decision-making and a unique ability to guard multiple positions at the defensive end of the court.
Rebecca’s skill, work ethic, and consistency were further recognised with her selection in the NSW All-Schools Merit Team.
Other main highlights of her outstanding year have also been her selection in the NSW U20 Women’s State Team and even more impressively, being announced in the Australian U17 Team to compete at the Oceania Championships this month. This is an exceptional honour reserved for the nation’s most promising young athletes and is reflective of her elite ability, discipline, and commitment to the sport.
Rebecca continues to inspire her teammates and the broader school community, embodying the values of NSWCCC sport through her sportsmanship, determination, and pursuit of excellence.
