Jalan Raja Abdullah as a main spine of Kampong Baru connecting to most of its nodes to be rejuvenated into a car free zone with aim to increase the reachability of Kampung Baru by pedestrianization and improve the surrounding commercial and entrepreneurial potential. Towards the pedestrianization, transition of vehicles into pedestrian is crucial. In order to support the concept of car free zone and pedestrianization, a catchment point from AKLEH, an elevated highway will be introduced for vehicles to be channeled into Kampung Baru but filtered into pedestrians. The vehicles' catchment will be a drive-thru building offering the products from Kampong Baru with new prospect of promotion and marketing tools for Kampong Baru.
