Founded in 1975, The Artlets Economics Society, a recognized academic organization of the University of Santo Tomas, in line with the teachings of the Church, is committed to promoting awareness of every economic issue through constructive motivation in active participation and self-development in the community to fully harness the various talents and capabilities of its members, towards joining academic and artistic competitions to form competent, compassionate, committed professionals in the local, national, and global setting. 

The Artlets Economics Society envisions itself to be keen on seeing a more versatile and humanitarian group of Thomasian economists from the premier Catholic institution of learning in Asia that values the importance of professional and moral formation, in the academe, the economy, and the society by which sustainability and inclusive growth are solidly founded upon for social transformation.
