UST Scarlet AB, the local unit of Scarlet based in the Faculty of Arts and Letters, is a Chinese-Filipino multicultural socio-civic organization of the University of Santo Tomas, founded in 1961, and revived last 2010 and 2020. 

UST Scarlet AB is not limited to Filipino - Chinese students in the Faculty of Arts and Letters, for we aim to create and foster better relationships between Filipino, Chinese, and students from other ethnic & cultural backgrounds. We promote social services to the community and the exchange of cultures between Filipinos and Chinese. UST Scarlet AB is committed to promoting the appreciation of the Chinese - Filipino cultural heritage as well as the attainment of humanitarian ends while preserving and strengthening the spirit of camaraderie among its members. 

Scarlet AB promotes and further educates Scarlet members and non-members about the Filipino-Chinese heritage and culture to establish a safe space within the Filipino-Chinese community that is both sensitive and nurturing to the welfare of its members. We aim to educate about our culture and tradition, as well as to raise awareness on issues that involve the protection of rights of the Fil-Chi Community. We aim to encourage and let members participate in wholesome activities geared towards the total development of the individual's intellectual, social, and moral growth. We also aim to provide social services to communities that need Scarlet AB most.
