AB Debate Parliament is the official debate team of the Faculty of Arts and Letters. It is a place wherein the art of debating is introduced to artlets students. Members are taught the various skills needed in order to foster in debate such as logic, argumentation, rhetorics, and are trained to be able to voice out their opinions in various situations when needed. With the support of the House of trainers, the executive board, and the alumni circle which have proven themselves not only in debating but in the various fields of expertise they pursued. Here, members will learn the British parliamentary and asian parliamentary format of debate and will be able to hold debate rounds with another, including the opportunity to compete in outside competitions.

Experience in debating is not a criteria to be able to join the Parliament. New debaters will be trained for months and will learn from among the best and most decorated debaters in the circuit. Skills in debating allows you to create arguments, proper narratives, communication skills, and well-thought rhetorics- skills that will allow you to have an edge in terms of academics, professional, and day-to-day encounters with people.
