We welcome you to sign up for Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences, which take place on Wednesday, October 28, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Registration opens: Friday, October 16 at 9 am
Registration closes: Friday, October 23 at 10 pm

Annual Giving Campaign
With your generosity and participation in last year’s Annual Giving Campaign, UA was able to install a new Imagination Deck Playground on the 2nd floor. Our Grade 1 students wanted to say thank you for making recess even more fun!
Crafted from natural and chemical-free materials, our new playground provides a welcoming space for unstructured free play that helps children develop essential motor skills. Featuring pogo poles, a balance beam and a gazebo, the new playground has been a major highlight for our Junior School students.
To our families who have already donated to this year’s Annual Giving Campaign, thank you for your support! Your partnership and participation in the Annual Giving Campaign positively impact UA students both inside and outside of the classroom.

Admissions for Siblings 2027/28 School Year
For any current families who are planning to apply for a sibling for the 2027/28 school year, please make a note of the application deadlines:
Kindergarten: November 16, 2026
Grades 1–12: January 29, 2027
Junior Kindergarten: February 12, 2027
We are happy to walk you through the process and what to expect. Please fill out this short Sibling Applicant Interest Form, and we will be in touch with some helpful information as you make plans for the coming year. You are also welcome to contact Admissions Manager Kristine Mathiasen (k.mathiasen@urbanacademy.ca) directly.

Registration is open until 10 pm tonight for Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Sign-up closes: Friday, October 23, 10 pm.
This is a no-school day for students.
OOSC will be open. Please note they will be off campus, so no drop-ins can be accommodated (OOSC details and registration).
UA Winter Sports Camp (January 4–8, 2027)
UA Winter Sports Camp (January 4–8, 2027)
Keep the kids active during the January break! UA Sport Camp is open to students (and their family members) in Grades 2–7. Led by Mr. MacKay and Mr. Craven, kids will be grouped by age and skill level to enjoy basketball, soccer, California kickball, pickleball, and more in a fun, inclusive environment.
Dates: January 4–8, 2027 (9am–3pm)
Location: Urban Academy
Cost: $60/day
Extended care (7am–6pm) is provided by OOSC at an additional cost of $30/day
