As part of their cultural immersion and language exposure, students in Grades 8 & 9 will have the opportunity to travel to Québec City and Montréal to experience Carnaval and the rich winter traditions in Eastern Canada. Our previous trip to Quebec was a fantastic student experience that offered connections to culture, language and one another, and we are looking forward to another busy but fulfilling trip once again!
During this trip, students will get to know Bonhomme Carnaval, take part in traditional winter activities, and explore historic sites such as the famous Château Frontenac. They’ll also connect with Indigenous culture through a visit to the Huron Traditional Site, to learn about the historic village, and the heritage and contemporary life of the Wendat Nation.
The dates of this trip are February 9–13, 2026. The cost per family is expected to be $3,200, inclusive of airfare, insurance, transportation, meals (breakfast and dinner), activities, and local guides.
