Ms. Ghataurah & Ms. Rai are the PAX Co-Chairs and oversees all of the initiatives and events that take place throughout the year.  She works closely with the committee and volunteers to ensure Urban Academy's parent community have many opportunities to both connect and raise funds for UA students.

Ms. Seema Kanji is the Parent Volunteer Coordinator and helps manage the volunteer opportunities available. She oversees the signup app and is a great resource to contact directly should you have a specific interest in a given volunteer area.

Used Uniform Lead

Ms. Lana Vijay

Ms. Lana Vijay manages all aspects of the PAX Used Uniform sales.

She is the point of contact for families who are interested in donating and purchasing used uniforms.

The Gala Chair heads up the Gala Committee - a dedicated group of parents who plan and execute our biggest school fundraiser: the UA Gala that takes place every other year

Class Parent Coordinator

Ms. Yashina Juwa manages each of our class parents throughout the year. Class Parents work with teachers and other parents to plan activities, connect with new families  and support certain in class events.

UA Carnival Chair

The UA Carnival takes place annually and is a fantastic community event for all ages. With games, entertainment, food, a silent auction and so many more exciting experiences it is a not to miss event and fundraiser for the school!
