Vacuum forming is a simplified version of thermoforming, where a sheet of plastic is heated to a forming temperature, stretched onto a single-surface mold, and forced against the mold by a vacuum. This process can be used to form plastic into permanent objects such as turnpike signs and protective covers
Watch the Video to gain an understanding of the process in regards to the DeSign unit.
NOTE: this is not a tutorial to where you would be expected to operate the machine alone. At least for the first time. This is not a difficult process but it is always good to gain support from your teacher while attempting vac-form.
