- Description of the different steps of an aircraft design

- Mission profile and design of the preliminary aircraft

-Preliminary analysis of wing loading and installed thrust on the basis of:

Take-off/landing analysis TOP

Airfoil and finite wing choice

Low speed polar analysis

Climb requirements.

Tools: 

- Classical  iterative approaches as developed by Torenbeck or Roskam to evaluate the main preliminary  characteristics of an aircraft with reference to the prescribed mission.

• Advanced Aircraft Analysis (DAR Corporation)

• TORNADO
