Slack at U-M (U-M Slack) is a collaboration tool that enhances workgroup communications. It provides a searchable platform for individuals and groups to chat in real-time, share content, and keep conversations organized and accessible from anywhere, anytime.
U-M Slack accounts are available to all active faculty, staff, students, and Type-1 sponsored affiliates on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses and Michigan Medicine.
The SSC has its own Slack Workspace, which you will be added to when you onboard. You are also free to browse/join other workspaces - such as the umichWORKS and the Maize & Blue Workspaces.
Single-Sign On (SSO) is on for this account, so you will login/authenticate through the standard U-M SSO screen
