What relevant experience would you bring to the position you are seeking?

I am currently a Finance Board Representative and I am understanding the goals that need to be taken care of ever week. I have a strong idea on what the current Finance Board needs to do to in order to help bolster the UMBC community.

How do you intend on fulfilling your role while working alongside other members of SGA? What strategies do you use to address conflict?

Working with other SGA members is very crucial to help the UMBC become a closer community. I want to create clear communication between all branches and some strategies that I want to address is creating more of friendly and engaging environment for everybody through well thought out events.

What is your vision for the funds that SGA has available to allocate to student organizations?

I want to allocate money to organizations that will benefit the UMBC community and bring some other element that no other campus offers. I hope that the money we allocate will also help bring the UMBC community closer whether if someone were to be a resident or a commuter

What do you think the Finance Board has done well? What do you think the Finance Board needs to improve?

The Finance Board has done well with their precedents. I believe that they have solid set of guidelines that help each organization understand what the Finance Board assess on a weekly basis.
