My work in this class was to mainly explore the human figure and the concepts of proportions, perspectives, and its surrounding space for the overall composition. I went into this class with some previous art skills and college classes and wanted to hone the skills I developed. Ending this class I feel like I have a much better understanding of the human figure and its movements and limitations. As well as a better grasp of composition, whether framing a solo drawing or composing a full piece. Perspectives were and still is a struggling point for me and this class helped me to break down what I’m seeing into shapes and allow me to visualize the pose easier. Allowing me to understand what I am seeing much more clearly.
Beginning of this class my proportions were off and drawing perspectives was tricky.
Throughout the class my ability to see and draw proportions within the body got better. This class also gave me a better understanding of fabric and how it moves.
This class discussed fabric and its movement. So I attempted a gif in procreate, using a runway model as a reference to show how the fabric moves.
