Howard organized a successful symposium (“Symposium EL16: Plasmonics, Metasurfaces and Metamaterials—Design, Materials and Applications”)(with Yang Zhao, Yao-Wei Huang, Pin-Chieh Wu) at 2023 MRS Spring Meeting in San Francisco. More than 140 presentations were given in the symposium. Howard also gave two invited talks in 2 other symposiums in the conference. We delivered 4 Best Poster Awards to students (thanks Nanophotonics for the sponsorships and support). Quynh Dang and Stuart Love gave nice oral presentations in the conference.Â
