I am Anurag Banerjee, a first year physics major at the University of California, Irvine. I am originally from Bakersfield, California. I sought out research in optics and photonics as it deals with the intersection of physics and chemistry, and it displays real world applications in imaging and healthcare. I aim to discover more about the optical properties of materials and how they can be harnessed to better people's lives.
