Hey, I’m Massee! I am currently completing my fourth year as a Mathematics and Applied Physics undergraduate student at UC Irvine.

I had my first exposure to Professor Lee’s research when I had the opportunity to take his Optics and Waves course. I was graciously introduced to the lab space and the diverse set of projects the lab members were working on, and from there I developed a strong interest in the projects they were working on.

Specifically, I am interested in the application of machine learning to our nanophotonics research. My path as a researcher has just begun, and I am excited to see what the future has in store.
