This project is a combination of many projects and assignments and projects through the year. We use a book publishing company called Student Treasures. Student create a 13 page of text and photos, along with cover design, title page and dedication page. As students developed proficiency they also became mentors to other students. We mentored two third grade classrooms, two second grade classrooms, two first grade classrooms, and helped a 4/5 grade class kick off their project online. All in all there were a total of 203 books published this year.
