Name: Karolee Smiley
Grade: 7th
Site: Smythe Academy Middle School
Students will be able to individually and collaboratively use technology responsibly to post information and responses. This will allow students to share in an alternative format, appealing to those with anxiety over presentations. This will allow students access to peer work from students in other classes, including those with other teachers.
It is expected that students will present at a higher rate (less students choosing to not present their information than in a normal class setting). Students will be more engaged in observing other student presentations than in traditional presentation settings.
Other outcomes:
Class time for presentations can be used more efficiently.
Teachers can observe products from students in other classes to compare work for PLC discussion.
Students report their conclusions to ecology simulations of sheep and wolf populations.
