Using Flipgrid to help students to communicate globally

Description: “On the Flipside of the Design Grid"-Global Communication

Students will learn the digital media design process through their Entrepreneurship Project. Students will develop a business plan, marketing plan, Corporate Identity and products representing their personal businesses and apply the design process to effectively and creatively communicate globally their innovative concepts using short video clips in Flipgrid and digital media skills learned in the classroom.

Student will use web tool Flipgrid, as a resource for documenting their process of design, supporting their business and marketing plans as well as a formative assessment. Students will participate in the development of a corporate identity, products or services, and create branding identity while learning soft skills in basic business applications, acquire hard skills to create graphic design, and animation digital media. Use audio production, video production and social marketing on the web, as well as friendly user-UX design technology capabilities to communicate globally and be digital citizens and be above the grid.
