TSTC has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide high-quality, on-demand online courses to all TSTC employees.

LinkedIn Learning provides more than 13,000+ online courses taught by real-world professionals. Select from a wide-range of courses covering a wide range of subjects, such as business, technology, creative skills, and personal development.

TSTC employees can find courses that directly help on the job or learn something for personal interest. This service is provided free of charge to all TSTC Employees.

MONTHLY LEARNING CHALLENGES

The HR Learning & Development Team is challenging all TSTC Employees to participate in our new monthly, self-paced professional development learning challenges.  In each challenge, we will guide you through a series of recommended online learning resources - including short videos, reading, or other materials - based on a specific topic or theme.  

The short videos on the calendar are linked to easily direct you to the LinkedIn Learning website.  Please make sure you are signed in to LinkedIn Learning by accessing the TSTC Portal > Applications > LinkedIn Learning.

CURATED LEARNING PATHWAYS

LinkedIn Learning For: All Team Members

  • Enhancing Your Customer Service Skills- Training session to assist with the job of SHEA offices. SHEA offices need to effectively communicate with staff and leadership, both in writing and verbally, on a day-to-day basis. The training sessions will focus on the following skills: email writing, report writing, preparation of presentations, public speaking, reporting during meetings, delivery of training, etc.

  • Building Self-Confidence- The content in this learning path is intended to help you reach your potential by increasing your self-confidence.

  • Cybersecurity Awareness- Creating a culture of security means building security values into the fabric of your digital world, and it involves being conscious of the dangers in everyday situations. Learn why cybersecurity awareness is essential in today’s ever-evolving threat landscape.

LinkedIn Learning For: Managers

  • Interviewing Basics for TSTC Managers- This course provides basic information and tips for managers during the hiring process. It includes information on how to conduct a behavioral interview.

  • TSTC New Manager Pathway- This pathway is designed to assist managers as they begin a new management role at TSTC. This course provides a solid foundation for management practices here at TSTC.

General Courses

  • Data Analytics Pre-Training: Team members who will participate in Data Analytics training.

  • Leadership Fundamentals: This pathway is designed to assist team members interested in exploring facets of leadership. This content will provide a solid foundation for basic management/leadership practices.
