We have intentionally designed our onboarding action plan to model our “Leaps for 21st Century Learning” and create learning experiences that are relevant to your day-to-day work, and customized to your needs. You will have an opportunity to actively self-direct your action plan (with support from your manager), and create a customized onboarding schedule!
Read: Let’s jump into your draft 30/60/90 day plan. Your manager has started this plan for you with important details about your portfolio and specific projects. Take a spin through this plan and note any questions you have for your manager. Note: Your draft plan should be given to you by your manager prior to your initial check in. Check in with your manager if you have not received it yet.
Do: In Part 3, you will prepare for an initial check in with your manager to kick off your onboarding experience and review your 30-60-90 Day plan. Come ready with your questions and ideas.
Your manager will be scheduling a 1:1 “Connection Check-in” to officially launch your Transcend onboarding learning journey! These 1:1 check-ins will be scheduled each week. Over the next 3 months, you will be experiencing our onboarding Impression and Introduction phases of onboarding.
Do: Your initial meeting with your manager serves as a check-in point to connect and to begin to build a foundational relationship to support your work together. You will also spend time digging into and customizing your 30-60-90 Day Plan (your manager will start this for you)
Do: Weekly 1:1s will provide an opportunity for you to check in on your onboarding process, share questions and progress, and to continue building your relationship with your manager
