PHASE 1: IMPRESSION
you will become further acquainted with our Transcend core values, commitments and competencies by engaging with other Transcenders. By the end of this first phase of onboarding, you will have new found connections throughout our Transcend community and develop a sense of belonging, allowing you to bring your authentic self to work each day. You will also have all the tools set up in order to meet each day with preparedness. You will also begin to familiarize yourself with the Theories and Frameworks that underpin all of our work at Transcend. To do this, you’ll engage with a series of videos that break down our Vision and Mission, our Theory of Change and our Theory of Action. Throughout, you’ll be prompted to pause and process your learning. And at the end, you’ll have a chance to debrief with your manager and veteran teammates to ask questions about what you learned. This will just be a first exposure to these key theories and frameworks. In future phases of onboarding, you’ll have a chance to go deeper as a member of an onboarding cohort. You will also begin to explore what success looks like in your role during this phase and how we approach professional growth as an organization. The impression phase is probably the most dense in terms of content so be sure to pace yourself and follow the timing suggestions in the portal and you map out your work.
