Our school team works side by side with a shared purpose: to support, encourage and stretch every child and family in our community. We care for one another, value everyone’s differences and show courage, kindness and respect in all we do. Together, we keep going even when things feel tough, so we can grow, improve and reach our goals as a school family.
Ixworth Church of England Primary School is on an exciting journey. We celebrate all that we have accomplished and look forward with hope to what lies ahead.
Our special Bible verse, Isaiah 40:31, says: “They will soar on wings like eagles.” It reminds us that we are all growing and learning, and that with faith in God, we can be resilient, strong and rise to every challenge.
Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We are a strong team and know how important it is to talk, listen and work together. We also value our connections with parents, carers and our wider community. Our journey begins early in Little Owls Nursery at age 2, where we get to know each child really well.
Our Christian values are rooted in togetherness. The Bible reminds us: “Two are better than one, because they help each other and care for one another” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–12). This teaches us the importance of supporting and looking after each other as we grow and learn.
We believe wellbeing is the foundation for everyone to reach their potential, and we are committed to supporting the mental wellbeing of our children, families and staff.
We value the courage to keep going, even when things are difficult, as this helps us succeed in learning and in life. The Bible reminds us: “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though they may stumble, they will not fall, for the Lord upholds them with his hand” (Psalm 37:23–24).
