In Criterion A you will describe a design opportunity and research about the problem you identified.
It is best to research the design opportunity using aspects of the Design Specifications to categorize the research you conduct.
You will develop a design brief which identifies the users needs will broadly outlines how you will solve the problem and what parameters (constraints) will affect the solution.
Lastly you will develop design specifications to guide the development of your solution. These must be based on the research you did earlier.
