Our laser cutters will Vector (cut through material) when it has Vector lines that are 0.003pt line weight. Anything over 0.003 will Raster.
Vectoring is when you cut through a material. You must use Vector lines that are 0.003pt line weight.
This is a side by side comparison with a JPEG and a Vector
Notice that when we zoom into a JPEG it becomes Pixelated. This is because a JPEG is made from Pixels.
Notice that when we zoom into a Vector it does not becomes Pixelated. This is because a Vector is made from an line that never becomes pixelated no matter how close you zoom in.
Rastering is engraving or etching onto a surface. Generally you are trying to remove material from the surface that forms a picture.
