Design a robot to battle in the sumo ring in order to increase school house spirit. Your robot will need to detect and push the other robot out of the ring. It should also stay in the ring. You will use Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot kit and need to modify the robot and it’s code to help give you an advantage.

In this unit, students will design and create custom spirit sticks to represent their house pride. They will learn basic CAD skills, woodworking techniques, and collaborate with house members as clients to bring their designs to life.
6th graders use Makey Makey kits to transform everyday objects into electronic instruments—banana keyboards, Play-Doh drums, and foil guitars! The unit wraps up with students performing mini-concerts on their handmade creations, blending creativity, technology, and music in one exciting project.
