Each year, to commemorate Remembrance Day, the Woburn Drama Department organizes a Remembrance Day Assembly. In years past, we have been honoured by the involvement of many community members, including Canadian soldiers back from different tours to share their stories and memories.
The Grade 12 piece for Remembrance Day 2007 was an interpretive dance that expresses the loss felt by all in times of war. It is also a reflection of the many reasons war exists and the changes we could implement if only everyone banded together to end strife and live in peace.

Performance #1
A Tribute to Bob Fosse: As an artist, Fosse was known for his thoroughly modern style, a signature one could never mistake for anyone else's. Snapping fingers are omnipresent, so are rakishly tilted bowler hats. Both hip and shoulder rolls appear frequently, as do backward exits. Swiveling hips and strutting predominate, as do white-gloved, single-handed gestures. He won an unprecedented eight Tony Awards for choreography, as well as one for direction, and received the Academy Award for Best Director in 1972 for Cabaret. This is our short tribute to his work
