Javaree Amandi Gordon is a 20-year-old Jamaican student at The College of New Jersey. Her areas of study include a major in English Secondary Education along with a minor in Anthropology. Her interest in writing began when she was only 8, and it has since been her passion.
She hopes to become an authour and recognized poet. Most of her works pertain to mental and emotional turmoil, black childhood, and topics surrounding love. By the time she was 18, Javaree had written more than 100 poems. That number has almost doubled in the past 2 years.
When not writing, Javaree can be found reading, exploring other creative interests like painting and crocheting, and enlightening others about her favourite obsession, the Twilight Saga.

It’s a step away from the Western Classics…
It’s an exploration of what was, was it, and what will be.
