As future educators, it is essential that we understand the importance of anti racist education. Having this perception allows students and teachers to create a comfortable yet open classroom setting to discuss certain things that may not be frequently spoken about. If students are given these options to explore and express their opinions, it becomes a great opportunity to view life through an open lens. But just how should it be done? How could educators describe those uncomfortable situations to young children? The goal of this website is to explain how to do just that, by providing historical examples of events that are not often discussed, and extra information on what you can do to provide these resources to students.
