You will be drawing ideas based on WHAT your client wanted and and HOW it links with your chosen design era.

Task 1 - Initial Ideas
You need to draw a wide range of ideas based on what you client said they wanted
These need to include :-
Thumbnail sketches of starting shapes.
Close ups of shade and stand ideas.
2D and 3D freehand sketching of your ideas.
It is important that you use the KEY POINTS from your DESIGN ERA research to influence your design work.
Use tone to highlight your work, emphasise points and enhance 3D.
Notes
You will be wring notes about two aspects of your work How it is influenced by your chosen design era and how it answers the designs brief.
Examples
Task 2 - Concept Development
You need to draw in 2D and 3D. Use some shading and tone to help describe the shape, form and texture of your designs.
Add some notes and labels to help explain your designs.
Also add a few notes to explain how you have taken your chosen design era into account with your designs.
Make sure you do LOTS of different concept sketches - 1 or 2 A3 sheets FILLED with ideas.
These will be where you start to make decisions about which ones you will develop into ideas.
