All Success Academy scholars participate in a digital curriculum; we provide all scholars with laptops to support digital learning. Scholars in elementary grades learn typing and digital citizenship to prepare them for the increased digital workload in middle school. 

These laptops are not personal devices, and we expect our scholars to treat them with the utmost care. In the event that you withdraw from Success Academy, you are required to return your scholar’s device in the same condition that they borrowed it in.

Technology Responsibility Policy

Scholars must use technology responsibly, abiding by our Scholar Technology, Internet Safety, and Social Media Acceptable Use Policy. 

Loss or Damages of Technology 

The following damage and replacement fees will be enforced throughout the school year: 

• If your scholar damages or loses their SA-issued device, you will pay for repairs or replacement, according to the following fee structure:

  • Computer: $100

  • Calculator: $35

  • Stylus or Charger: $10

• If you do not pay the damage fee within 45 days, your scholar may lose some or all access to the computer or device.
