Self-portrait
Graphite pencil
9"x12"
For class, I had to draw a self-portrait in around 20 minutes and make it as realistic as possible.
For this drawing I used a mirror to see myself as I drew, and a pencil and paper.
I started by just drawing the outline of my face, then basic facial features, and then adding shading, but only a small amount because of the time crunch. At first, this task seemed difficult, but party though, I realized I didn't have to draw half the face, which was nice.
Flower in a corner
Graphite pencil
9"x12"
I was told to find a corner of a room and draw it, so that's what I did. But the corner was pretty boring so, I added a flower to spice it up.
For this drawing, I just used a graphite pencil and paper, with a corner of my room as my subject.
I started by finding a good simple corner to go off of, and once I found it, I draw some lines then added my flower.
Pencil

I was assigned to draw any object in the room, and a pencil seemed pretty simple and close by so I started drawing.
To make this drawing, all I needed was 2 graphite pencils, (one to draw with and one to draw), and a sheet of paper.
I just laid out the pencil on a piece of white paper and started drawing what I saw, adding details as I went.
