Color Design

For this painting I was assigned to make a painting using 84 different colors, so I decided I would make and abstract, colorful, rectangular piece.

The materials I used were acrylic paints on canvas paper. To apply the paint I used a small paint brush and tape along the border.

I started by sketching out the main outlines of what I wanted to do. I then started mixing up colors and painting them on in many layers. Once I had all the colors done and rectangles covered, I took of the tape border and I was done.
