Duck Stamp 

I looked at a lot of different ducks, and the King Eider really stood out to me as very unique and pretty.  I thought making it starting to lift off from the water would make it look cool. 

I used graphite pencils, colored pencils, gouache, and watercolors all on watercolor paper.

I used a graphite pencil to sketch out my main proportions,  then started on my background with watercolors. Once I was happy with the background I switched colored pencil and restarted a couple times with gouache, but eventually got it to where I wanted it.
