Leaf artist statement 

When I was told to draw outlines on leafs I had no clue what I was going to do at first.  I just kind of went with the flow and decided to draw some fun doodles in the open space.

I used lots of things to make this piece.  I used a pencil and a sharpie for most of it, but I also used a ruler for the border, and leaves to trace. 

To make this drawing, I started by drawing a border with a sharpie and a ruler. Then I gathered leafs and traced them in pencil, then went over that with my sharpie. And to finish it off, I just colored in the parts that broke the border (and forgot a part) and drew in some random doodles.
