Linoleum Block

For this project I started brainstorming different ideas on scratchboard and eventually decided that a reverse contrasting ocean scene would be cool.

The things I used for this was a carved linoleum block, printing ink, and paper.

I started by planning my design on scratchboard, then i carved it into the linoleum block. From there I started rolling ink onto the block and made lots of prints in lots of different ways until I had what I needed.
