Zoomed Shoe

The main idea behind my project is just to simply be a pattern or design that isn't too intricate that people need to ask questions to understand what it is, but also not too simple it's boring and people don't look at it long or not at all.

The materials I used for this project are alcohol markers, gel pens, and graphite pencils. 

There were a lot of ideas that I had for this project, once I decided to use that zoomed view I originally wanted to make it sort of a beach scene with a wave, but once I started with that idea I realized I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do so I decided to change my idea. I chose to just do a pattern with words on top, which also went through some stages, first I wanted to do song lyrics from a couple of songs or a script from a movie, but then I realized that it would take away from the background a lot because people would be more focused on reading the words on top. So I decided to just use a word and repeat it over and over which happened to be "art."
