Artist Statement

I didn't have a main idea for these pieces of work. For the Zentangle, I used a ruler and a gel pen to make perfectly straight lines. Then I made the 2 cm by 2 cm boxes and filled them in. I tried to use some cool shapes in it, such as the Fibonacci Spirals in boxes 2 and 7. For the hands, I used graphite pencil to do the outline and the negative space. For the leaves, I used a graphite pencil to make an outline, then drew over it with a pen. I was going to color it in during class, but I forgot that art assignments are due in the beginning of class, so I only managed to do a tiny bit of it. I only made one draft of each of these.
