Historical Coil Pot

This is the pot that I based mine on. It's an albarello (ointment jar), made in Iran (Persia) during the Il-Khanid Dynasty in the 13th-14th c. C.E. (approximately 743 years ago). Don't you think it looks amazing? I do.

...and this is mine. As you can see, it's terrible. I tried to make it work, but I kept messing it up. I've lost track of how much time I've spent on this, but it must've been over three weeks. All that time, wasted.

What I'm saying is, I give up. I wanted to make this; the original pot looks really nice, and my initial hope was to make something similar. But I think that instead of failing and falling behind, it'd be better if I went on to the next assignment (or the previous one, which I never finished).

As with the previous assignment, and as explained above, I tried to make this work, ran out of time, and moved on. This assignment has also been exempted from my final grade.
